Tacos have become a staple meal prep recipe of mine. They’re delicious and most importantly crazy easy to prep for the entire week. The seasoning is easy to put together with a small amount of pantry supplies and you will never get bored of eating these because you can switch it up every time.
There are major benefits to prepping your own seasoning:
- No sugar, maltodextrin or any other prepackaged nasties
- Want a flavor to stand out? You can control ratios.
- Low carb
In the comments below tell me how you enjoy your tacos. Whether it’s on a bed of shredded lettuce, wrapped in a veggie shell or plain. LETS TALK TACOS!

Assemble it and Spice it Up! (Optional Ingredients)
- Lettuce shredded for a bowl or whole for a wrap
- Sour Cream
- Hot Sauce
Cook beef on a stove-top at medium heat until all the fat has been released.
Add onions and cook until they become transparent.
Combine all seasoning ingredients into a separate bowl and mix seasoning together.
Add seasoning to the beef. Start small and build up the flavor. Remember, you can always add on but you can not remove.
Stir seasoning until completely incorporated. Close lid and cook until all the water has evaporated from the pan.
