Craving a sweet guilt-free dessert? You’re in luck!
One thing I enjoy the most about being on a ketogenic diet is the fact that I can, without any guilt, enjoy a sweet treat from time to time. Let’s be honest, the reason many people cannot stick to their diets is because that sweet tooth comes knocking during their weakest moments and they eventually give in.
Thankfully if you’re keto you can enjoy a simple dessert that fits into your macros!
This one is 4.1g Net Carbs
I use a simple whipped cream topping for this cake but you can get creative with it!
Vanilla Mug Cake
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Butter melted
- 1 tbsp Sweetener to taste
- 2 tbsp Coconut Flour
- 1 tbsp Almond Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- dash Salt
Melt butter in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. Let butter cool to room temperature.
Add egg, baking powder, sweetener, salt, and vanilla extract to the butter and stir until fully incorporated.
Add almond flour and coconut flour to the mixture. Stir well.
Microwave for 1 minute. Add additional 15-30 seconds if needed.

I used a 0 calorie sweetener for my recipe. If you are using sugar alcohols or natural sweeteners, be sure to account for the additional carbs.
